2024年领头羊奖

的 Bellwether College Consortium is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 2024年领头羊奖. 的 consortium invites community colleges to participate in a transformative and rewarding experience of sharing their respective responses to bellwether issues. A community college designated as one of the 30 Bellwether Finalists is invited to engage in an immersive, interactive final round of competition for this national recognition. A 领头羊奖 winner will be chosen in each of the three categories below.

 

 

1)教学计划 & 服务: Programs or activities that have been designed and successfully implemented to foster or support teaching and learning in the community college.

2)规划、治理; & 财务: Programs or activities that have been designed and successfully implemented to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the community college.

3)劳动力发展: Public and/or private strategic alliances and partnerships that promote community and economic development by producing a workforce.

 

选择标准

的 2024 Community College 期货大会 Showcase will be a judged event. 作为最后一轮比赛的一部分, the 30 Bellwether finalists will present their submissions to attendees, including judges during the celebratory kickoff to the Assembly. 有资格获得领头羊奖, a formal application form must be completed and received by the consortium no later than September 27, 2023. Applications MUST be submitted ELECTRONICALLY via the ONLINE portal. 的 Program Summary portion of the application will be scored by our esteemed judges. 的 program abstract is limited to 50 words and the program summary cannot exceed 1000个单词. 不需要补充信息.

Community College 期货大会 Registration and Preparation of Formal Presentation

Finalists will be invited to join the Bellwether College Consortium and register for the 2024 Community College 期货大会 held in San Antonio from Sunday, 2月26日至周二, 2月28日. By popular demand, the Menger Hotel has been secured in beautiful San Antonio. It is adjacent to the historic Alamo and within walking distance of the vibrant Riverwalk.

College finalists must confirm their attendance and register all attendees and presenters. Attendees are reminded to make reservations using the conference hotel link by the deadline. 学院代表(e).g. 受托人, 总理, presidents) and business and industry partners are strongly encouraged to attend and provide institutional support for their respective colleges. Scoring criteria for the digital binder and the oral presentation are the same. Judges will score a maximum of ten pages of content and an additional ten pages for appendices with the presentation.
