Palo Alto College in the top 10 online community colleges in the nation

Palo Alto College was recently recognized as one of the best online community colleges in the nation for 2019 by BestColleges.com, an informative source on educational programs and higher education intended to help students find the right path to a college degree.

The College is ranked seventh in the nation, moving up 13 positions from 2018 and cracking the top 10. Additionally, the College is the only community college in Texas on the list ranked in the top 20 for 2019.

The methodology behind the ranking system is based off the most recent statistical data available from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and College Navigator. BestColleges.com also applies guiding principles such as academic quality, affordability, and online competency.

To be considered for ranking, each school must be an accredited public or private nonprofit institution and must offer at least six online associate degree programs. Palo Alto College offers various online academic programs and courses to provide access to first-rate faculty and top-quality academics in a convenient, flexible format offered entirely online.
