PAC awarded as Outstanding Community Partner

Palo Alto College (PAC) was recognized by the City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District Immunization Program with the Outstanding Community Partner award at the annual TVFC/ASN Provider Conference on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. The Metro Health District recognized Palo Alto College for its collaboration and partnership with Metro Health Immunizations Program.

 

PAC program participates in Mexican American studies conference

Palo Alto College's (PAC) Mexican American Studies program was part of the Statewide Summit on Mexican American Studies for Texas Schools at Our Lady of the Lake University on Saturday, June 15. The Summit, hosted by the Texas chapter of the National Association for Chicana and Chicano Studies, was a one-day event open to educators, students, community members and administrators interested in expanding course offerings in Mexican American Studies in Texas schools.

 

PAC program ranked best in Texas

Palo Alto College's (PAC) Administrative Computer Technology program was ranked sixth in the nation and best in Texas by BestColleges.com among online associate in administrative assistant degree programs. The degree and six aligned certificates can be completed fully online through Alamo Colleges Online. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts strong growth in the medical field for administrative assistants, with a projected increase of 15% in the number of medical records and health information technician positions.
