PAC celebrates impact of TRIO programs

Palo Alto College's (PAC) monthly Celebrate & Share PAC Excellence Breakfast on Friday, March 1 featured the College's three TRIO programs: TRIO Talent Search, TRIO Upward Bound, and TRIO Upward Bound Math-Science. The event included TRIO staff members, parents of TRIO students, and high school counselors who spoke to the benefits of the programs. Palo Alto College's TRIO programs were also recently highlighted in the San Antonio Express-News' Southside Reporter in Dr. Robert Garza's biweekly column, "Early access helps alleviate education obstacles". The Council for Opportunity in Education also picked up the column and distributed it in their weekly update email.
